Its activities also include promotion<br \/>\nof quality local wines. As part of these promotion strategies, the Consorzio decided to focus on<br \/>\nraising awareness in worldwide specialized and generalist media by launching the \u201cWords of Wine<br \/>\n&#8211; Parole di vino\u201d international journalism award. Now in its fifth edition, the award aims to<br \/>\nencourage promotion and endorsement of the image of Abruzzo wine through media<br \/>\ncommunication actions. The competition is open to Italian and international journalists.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Award<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Award is international in outreach and is dedicated to the following journalism professionals:<br \/>\n\u2013 Press (newspapers and periodicals)<br \/>\n\u2013 TV and radio<br \/>\n\u2013 Web (online dailies and periodicals, blogs)<\/p>\n<p>Articles circulated in any of the EU member states are eligible and applications for the competition<br \/>\nmust reach the panel by 30 May 2023, in paper or digital format, at the following addresses:<br \/>\nConsorzio Tutela Vini d\u2019Abruzzo<br \/>\nCorso Matteotti \u2013 Palazzo Corvo<br \/>\n66026 Ortona \u2013 CH<br \/>\nItaly<br \/>\nemail: info@vinidabruzzo.it<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Panel<\/strong><br \/>\nThe panel comprises a technical committee which will be given the opportunity to nominate<br \/>\ncandidates for the award.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Award Method<\/strong><br \/>\nThe panel will choose the most deserving works among articles published in generalist and<br \/>\nspecialized newspapers and periodicals; television and radio broadcasts; articles published on the<br \/>\nweb, circulated by 29 May 2023. The themes addressed will be top-class wines and winegrowing<br \/>\nterritories of Abruzzo; outstanding figures in the Abruzzo wine scenario; the region\u2019s natural,<br \/>\nhistorical, and cultural heritage.<br \/>\nThe award ceremony will take place on 7 June 2023 in Citt\u00e0 Sant\u2019Angelo, with the opportunity to<br \/>\nenjoy a wine tour of Abruzzo\u2019s major cellars from 5 to 8 June, following some of the most<br \/>\ncharacteristic routes.<br \/>\nThe travel and board expenses of all the winners will be met by the organizers.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Announcement and regulations The mission of the Consorzio Tutela Vini d\u2019Abruzzo is to protect, promote and act in the best interests of all region\u2019s controlled designations of origin wines.
